Saskia is a 26 year old who has many roles in her local community of Southland. She is also on a National YMCA Youth Strategies Committee and traveled to India in 2005 as a New Zealand YMCA representative to an international YMCA conference. She enjoys surfing and designing clothing in her spare time.

Why or what do you love most about being a Youth Worker:

Young people are energetic and great to work with they keep you feeling young. I like the fact that you can be a young persons link to adulthood and they can understand that not all adults are grumpy and pessimistic.
