Reason for being on NYWN Board of Management:

Kevin Grimwood is a Pakeha from Christchurch, and is married to his beautiful wife Suzanne.

He first began volunteering as a youth worker ten years ago, and since then has amassed a broad range of youth work experience. He currently works as the Coordinator of the Canterbury Youth Workers Collective and also is the New Zealand representative on the Commonwealth Regional Youth Caucus - South Pacific, a voluntary role which involves him providing a perspective on New Zealand young people, in international forums.

Kevin is passionate about young people in New Zealand and believes in youth work as a vehicle to assist young people to develop healthily. He is interested in the theory of youth development as well as the practical side of youth work, and considers it an incredible privilege to be involved in the youth development field and to be on the board of the National Youth Workers Network.
