Location: Wellington, New Zealand (Aotearoa)

The Global Education Centre is part of the Development Resource Centre, a national NGO providing information and education services on international development, global education and global issues. Our mission is “Change for a Just World”.

Description:

Are you interested in educating young people and their communities about global issues? Do you enjoy creating innovative and engaging educational materials? We are seeking a passionate and committed person, to fill the role of Resource Writer (Community Programme). This exciting role is responsible for developing innovative educational resources targeted at community educators and rangatahi/youth. You will have a good understanding of global issues, the needs of the non-formal education sector, proven writing and research skills, excellent communication skills, a demonstrated commitment to te Tiriti o Waitangi and enthusiasm for packaging ideas in interesting and engaging ways. The position is 18.75 hours per week and based in Wellington.
