National Youth Workers Network Aotearoa (NYWNA) presents:
Youth Work at a Crossroads
2009 National Hui for Youth Workers in Aotearoa New Zealand
Every Youth Worker that cares about the future of Youth Work in Aotearoa New Zealand needs to be at this meeting. The Hui will bring Youth Workers from around our country together in one place, to korero about the challenges and opportunities facing our profession.
When: 10am-4pm, Tuesday 17th of November, 2009.
Where: St John's in the City Conference Centre,
Corner Dixon & Willis Streets, Wellington.
All Youth Workers are welcome!

10am-12pm: Discussion on the current state of
Youth Work in Aotearoa New Zealand
12-1pm: Working lunch and Annual General Meeting
1-3pm: Survival plan: the future of Youth Work
in Aotearoa New Zealand
3pm:
Farewell for John Harrington, former Chief Executive Officer of NYWNA
Costs for Attending the
Hui:
Due to the current
funding enviornment, NYWNA is unable to cover any travel or other costs related
to those who attend the hui. This includes the 'working lunch' referred to above
- hui participants are expected to either purchase or bring their own lunch. We
will work to coordinate travel back to the airport after the hui, in order to
reduce transport costs.
